The HOSPO Health Leaders Program isn’t another awareness session. It’s a 12-month psychosocial safety and performance system, designed specifically for hospitality, built on current evidence, with practical strategies and tools that can be applied in your business right away.
Our industry faces a hard reality: staff turnover is among the highest of any sector, 80% of workers say mental health is a challenge, and psychosocial injury claims are rising nationally. Awareness isn’t enough. This program takes a different approach, and it’s transformative for both leaders and the businesses they run.
A deep, practical understanding of psychosocial safety in a hospitality context, including your legal obligations under the Work Health and Safety Act and the 14 psychosocial hazards your business must manage
A stronger, more sustainable leadership wellbeing practice, starting with you.
A peer learning partnership with a leader from another Tasmanian hospitality business, with structured accountability conversations every two months
Measurable, signed commitments to real workplace change that are backed by data, not good intentions.
Delivered by researchers and practitioners who are among the best in Australia, every step of the program builds on the last. By the end, you won’t just have new knowledge, you’ll have evidence of genuine transformation in your workplace.
Each year, 10 properties from across Tasmania are selected to participate.
Applications open in late May each year. Download the full 2026–27 program booklet to find out more.
